 Paul Krackhardt, owner of Weather Warrior Roofing, began his roofing career in 1989 on the West Coast of Florida. He started by roofing his own home in Cape Coral, Florida, learning the craft by "reading the instructions" on shingle bundles. A week later, he had successfully roofed his home.

Three years later, Hurricane Andrew ravaged South Florida. Amidst widespread damage, Paul's personal home was the only one for miles with no shingle damage. People were amazed and began asking him for repairs, marking the true beginning of his journey.
